Joey De Francesco on the KeyB Organ and Touring with David Sanborn

During a latest three-night stint with chart-owning sax slinger David Sanborn at the premier jazz club for the west coast - Yoshi's in Oakland, California - jazz organ fantastic Joey DeFrancesco spent his appear verify with executive editor Stephen Fortner, who was later on treated to completely one with the most exciting, burning sets he's ever observed Sanborn play. Touring in service of Sanborn's latest album Only Every thing, the quartet was rounded out through the incomparable Gene Lake on drums, and Ricky Peterson over a Yamaha S-90 and Roland JV-80, actively playing everything but organ.
